Afternoon racing was on tap for Craig Dollansky and the rest of the Outlaws on Sunday in Dodge City, Kansas as thunderstorms on Saturday postponed the finale of the 'Boot Hill Showdown' presented by Boot Hill Casino & Resort.

The racing action got underway for the Big Game Treestands team in qualifying as Craig Dollansky posted the 13th quickest lap with a time of 13.037 seconds.  "We were off the pace in qualifying, we were slow," said Dollansky.  The Karavan Trailers sponsored Maxim started and finished 5th in the heat race and turned the teams' attention to the main event.

The 30-lap main event found the #7 slated to start from the 11th position.  After avoiding an 8-car accident early on in the feature Craig got collected by Jac Haudenschild on lap 13.  The minor damage, a flat right rear tire and nerf bar were repaired in the work area by Lester Groves and Mike Woodring and 'The Crowd Pleaser' was able to restart at the tail. Dollansky did what he could to gain as much ground as possible in the remaining laps of the race, and brought the Aggressive Hydraulics sponsored car home in the 12th position.  "I got a good start on the first start and then there was an 8-car crash that moved us up a row, I got a decent start again but fought to maintain position, I feel like we were off the pace all night long," commented Craig. As it was, the team lagged in the speed department running 4 to 5 tenths off the pace throughout the event.

Dollansky and the Big Game Treestands team return to action this Wednesday, June 16th at Missouri State Fair Speedway in Sedalia, Missouri for Kasey's King of Sedalia event.
