PR by Reid VanEck - November 2, 2011

What started the beginning of February and accumulated thousands of miles crisscrossing the country to various dirt tracks culminates this weekend for the Big Game Treestands #7 team as they travel to Concord, North Carolina looking to add to their nine victories and wrap up the 2011 World of Outlaws season.

Since the last event at Talladega Short Track in Alabama on October 22nd the team has returned to their shop in Princeton, MN where they enjoyed their first weekend away from a race track since way back in the middle of April but were also busy preparing for the Lowe’s Foods World Finals at The Dirt Track in Charlotte which gets underway tomorrow.

Since commencing in 2007 with the World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series and Late Model Series competing on the same stage and then expanded last year to include the Super DIRTcar Series Big Block Modifieds, the event has become one of the bigger events on the schedule each year in just the fifth running.  “The World Finals has grown into a pretty big event and is a good way to end the season at a nice facility and area for some of our sponsors and manufacturers to close out the season with us,” commented Dollansky.  “It’s a pretty good race track when you get it prepared right and puts on some good racing.”

In last year’s Finals Dollansky topped the charts for Friday’s qualifying but suffered some tough luck in the main events and during the most recent race at the 4/10-mile oval on May 28th ‘The Crowd Pleaser’ started inside of row eight and charged up to sixth to record his fifteenth top-ten on the short track after being involved in an early incident.

The unique event gets underway on Thursday with two separate qualifying sessions that set the lineups for heat races on Friday and Saturday.  DIRTvision.com will carry live video of all the action from the first two nights prior to the season finale on Saturday when the cameras from SPEED will air LIVE starting at 8 PM eastern.

Although November is only spotlighted by the three day event in North Carolina, new wallpaper for the month can be found HERE!
