Another night of racing in ‘The Evergreen State’ was on the docket Saturday for the Big Game Treestands #7 team as they returned to Skagit Speedway looking for a sweep of the weekend and recapturing the $20,000-to-win payday that ‘The Crowd Pleaser’ took home during the 2007 edition of the event.

With 26 cars signed into the pit area, Dollansky motored around the 3/10-mile oval in 11.053 seconds during qualifying time trials which was 4th fastest overall.  The strong qualifying lap started the Aggressive Hydraulics Maxim on the inside of row two for the first heat race where Dollansky held the 3rd position by the completion of the 10-lap race to transfer into the dash.  An inversion of eight for the dash put the #7 sprinter in row three for the start, a spot he would maintain by the time the checkered flag waved.

Poised for a sweep of the weekend and the big prize money that was on the line the Karavan Trailers #7 started inside of row three for the 40-lap $20,000-to-win A-Main.  Battling a rough and heavy race track Dollansky held the fifth spot when the first caution came on lap 6.  The restart was a great one for ‘The Crowd Pleaser’ as he raced past Donny Schatz and then battled Steve Kinser for third with Kinser just holding the position before the lap was complete.  On the following circuit Schatz fought back and reclaimed the fourth position before another caution on lap 9.  The ensuing double-file restart saw Kinser hit the inside berm and dart back across the track collecting Brad Sweet and also leaving Dollansky with no where to go.  The damage sustained was too much for Dollansky to return to action as the night that looked like another strong finish ended in frustration.

Racing will resume on Labor Day for the Big Game Treestands #7 as they travel to Cottage Grove Speedway in Oregon.
